On March 1, Captain and Mrs. Paul and Amanda Cleary wed on a snowy day up in Cle Elum, deep in the cascades. The Suncadia Resort is an incredible oasis east of Snoqualmie Pass, and a fabulous place to have a wedding any time of year. The couple chose the Swiftwater Cellars venue and it turned out to be an excellent choice, despite guests having to brave the drifting snow to arrive on time. Everyone was there and ready for the lovely ceremony in the Garden Room.
The reception followed with a cocktail hour (with plenty of wine to choose from!), then a full dinner and dancing in the spacious downstairs room, complete with wine production facilities and a barrel room. Seattle Wedding Videography and Oliver Blue Photography were there to capture the event, and along with the great staff and facilities at the Swiftwater, the night went on without a hitch.
The dance party started fairly quickly after the formal dances. The bride and her bridesmaids rocked the dance floor all night, and it seemed that everyone got up to dance at least once. Our own DJ Sean kept the energy level up while also maintaining enough variety to keep everyone happy. The night ended with a slow dance to Michael Buble’s version of “Home,” especially pertinent with all the army officers in the room.
