Bobby and Jaclyn met at work, but they are all play. In a highly stylish setting at the always stellar Four Seasons Hotel, they celebrated the way they live: with flair and a good dose of fun and love. As the ceremony ended in the foyer overlooking the gorgeous view of Elliot Bay, James Brown’s “I Feel Good” blared throughout the second floor and the party was on. Following the cocktail hour, the bridal party and bride and groom entered the ballroom to a looped grove of Jay-Z’s “Off That” as guests cheered. The decor, provided by Aria Style, showcased an incredible sweetheart table, lit with Seattle Parties’ own new battery powered up-lights.
Jason Mraz’s “I Won’t Give Up” was the soundtrack to the first dance. A touching Father Daughter dance to Rascal Flatts’ classic, “My Wish” was followed by an impromptu Mother Son dance (she originally was too shy!). Later, the party kicked into high gear, as DJ Sean had the crowd dancing until well after midnight.
Dance floor hits included everything from Rihanna’s “Only Girl (In the World)” and Miles Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop” to Elvis singing “Can’t Help Falling in Love With You” and the always crowd pleasing Isley Brothers’ version of “Shout.” They went wild for everything including the final hyped up dance of the night to the current number one hit song, Pharrell Williams’ “Happy.”
This wedding also allowed us to really try out our new lights. We are excited to be using them all summer. The battery power allows us to quickly set up a scene and the wireless aspect allows us to change colors on the fly. We are able to add any color to the dance floor or the entire ballroom.
