Bride Meg grew up in the Seattle area, but now lives in New York City. With many friends and family making the long trip across the country to attend her wedding, she brought a little bit of East Coast Style with her. At the same time, her NW roots came through with a very informal ceremony. After walking into the circle formed by guests at the very urban chic Melrose Market Studios, they were quickly declared husband and wife and a champagne toasts commemorated the occasion.
An amazing dinner by Ravishing Radish was followed by toasts and a touching first dance to Adele’s version of Dylan’s now classic To Make You Feel My Love. Some great requests keep DJ Sean on his toes, and he especially loved the Scissor Sisters and indie pop that was a nice break from the usual wedding requests. Later, instead of the traditional cake cutting ritual, the bride and groom Andrew and then attendees took turns smashing open 3 pinatas, capping off a smashing day of fun.
